Threshing Barn at Beech House Holidays

Beech House Holidays presents The Threshing Barn, providing beautiful self-catering accommodation in Stockdalewath, just outside Carlisle in Cumbria. Our 18th century barn has been lovingly restored to offer luxurious and contemporary facilities for up to 8 guests. The Threshing Barn has a Visit England 5-Star rating and Gold Award.

The barn retains its characterful original beams, stone and ironwork. It includes a living space with wood burner, a fully-equipped kitchen and 4 wonderful and unique bedrooms, 2 king-sized and 2 queen-sized / twin. Each has a bathroom / en suite facilities. Hosts Anna and Mark can provide delicious suppers if required, using the best of locally-sourced produce, including our own vegetables, herbs and fruit from the orchard.

Families, walkers and cyclists are welcome. This countryside location offers easy access to Hadrian’s Wall and the Lake District National Park. Excellent walks can be enjoyed straight from the door and there are opportunities for many outdoors pursuits in the local area including cycling, shooting, fishing, horse riding and more.
