Bleatarn Park Holiday Cottages

Bleatarn Park Holiday Cottages provide a range of self-catering and dog-friendly cottages within a restored barn in the small hamlet of Irthington, only 10 minutes from the M6 motorway and 15 minutes from Carlisle. Providing an ideal base for exploring Cumbria and the Scottish Borders, this accommodation is also on the line of Hadrian’s Wall.

Our 6 cottages are fully equipped for a holiday stay and sleep up to 4 guests in each. You will find Wifi, LCD TVs in living area / bedrooms, a private patio and parking space. All linens, kitchen and utensils are provided and highchairs, travel cots and dog crates are available to borrow. Dogs are welcome in Vallum, Stanegate and Fortress Cottages. Our guests can expect a bottle of wine on arrival and some provisions, including fresh eggs from our own hens.

This is excellent walking country, so don’t forget your hiking boots! The Coast-to-Coast and Reivers Cycle Routes are also close by and fishing is available at New Mills Trout Farm and Sea Fishing Cumbria. Other places of interest in the local area include Carlisle Cathedral and Carlisle Castle.
