Middle Ruddings Country Inn

A warm Cumbrian welcome awaits at Middle Ruddings Inn and Restaurant in the pretty village of Braithwaite. This friendly, family-run inn offers fine hospitality, great food, local ales and comfortable guest rooms where dogs are allowed to stay. Owners Liz and Andy and their team would be delighted to see you!

There are 14 guest rooms; single, double, twin and family sized, all with en suite facilities. A delicious full English breakfast is included in our room rates and you can opt for an inclusive dinner package if preferred. Our restaurant offers a great array of British classics from a seasonal menu including fresh fish, deep filled pies and succulent steaks. We also offer homemade puddings, vegetarian options and a children’s menu.

Our bar is the place to relax with a local ale, cider or whisky. We also have a great selection of wines and unusual beers from around the world to suit all tastes. In an area famous for its amazing scenery and many attractions, Middle Ruddings is the perfect place to rest after a full day of sight-seeing, walking, climbing or cycling.
