Seatoller Farm Cottage

Cowslip Cottage is a 17th century barn, lovingly refurbished into a comfortable self-catering cottage and situated on Seatoller Farm in Borrowdale. Surrounded by the wonderfully picturesque landscapes of the Lake District fells and Derwent River, it provides a relaxing and peaceful place to stay for 4 guests. Owners Daniel and Ruby live on the farm and will be delighted to welcome you and offer any help or advice.

This cottage offers a mix of original stone floors and exposed wooden beams with all the comforts of modern living. There is a cosy lounge with armchairs, sofa, wood burning stove and plenty of games to play! The fully fitted and equipped kitchen has a dining table and chairs. There is also a double and a twin room furnished with Laura Ashley fabrics and a family bathroom with complimentary Cumbrian toiletries included. We also provide a welcome pack of goodies to help you settle in.

Outside Cowslip Cottage, there is a garden area with picnic bench, although you might have to share it with the odd lamb that ventures in! With ample car parking, the cottage is also close to many excellent walks and cycle ways around the area. There is a friendly pub within walking distance and you can buy our own Herdwick Lamb burgers from the farm or visit our craft shop.
