Fir Tree Lodge

Fir Tree Lodge is a timber-built lodge offering excellent self-catering holiday accommodation near the bustling town of Kirkby Stephen. With views across the Eden Valley and on the boundary of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, it is surrounded by beautiful landscapes and is perfectly situated to explore the area.

Inside, the lodge has an open plan living area with leather sofa, Wifi, Freeview TV, DVD player and music system; dining area and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, electric cooker and washing machine. There are 3 bedrooms that can sleep up to 5 guests, with the master bedroom featuring an en suite bathroom. Outside, there is a raised decking area with a private hot tub and plenty of land for children and pets to play in. A huge variety of wild birds and red squirrels visit the garden daily.

Kirkby Stephen has plenty of shops and dog friendly places to eat and drink. You can also pick up the C2C cycle route from here. There are also many walks and local lakes offering fishing and water sports activities. The Stainmore Railway Museum offers an interesting day out where you can ride on a steam train. 5 miles from Britain's highest pub The Tan Hill Inn
