Barton Hall Country House

Welcome to Barton Hall Country House offering bed and breakfast accommodation in Ullswater. Dating back to 1710 as a Queen Anne Country House and extended during the Victorian era, it has beautiful architecture indicative of both periods in history and is set in over 3 acres of tranquil grounds.

There are 8 beautifully decorated guest bedrooms designed in a Victorian or Queen Anne style and dormer bedrooms on the second floor. All have delightful fabrics and furnishings with en suite or private bathrooms, original fireplaces, TV, Wifi and a welcome tray. Each can accommodate 3 or 4 guests. A delicious full English breakfast is included. There is also a sunroom and a guest kitchen.

Visitors are welcome to explore the grounds and play croquet on the lawn. There is plenty of car parking available. You will find a post office, cafe and inn in Pooley Bridge nearby and you can enjoy many activities on Ullswater Lake. Barton Hall can also provide exclusive bookings for special occasions and private parties.
