Foxglove Cottage

Foxglove Cottage is a charming 18th century self-catering holiday cottage in the village of Greystoke, about 4 miles from Penrith. On the edge of Lake District National Park, this is a great location for both active and relaxing holidays. The cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests with dogs allowed.

Sensitively renovated, retaining beamed ceilings and stone walls, Foxglove also has all the contemporary facilities to make it a home-away-from-home. There is a cosy lounge with 3 piece suite, log effect electric fire, TV and DVD player; a well-equipped kitchen, a double and a twin bedroom. Wifi, heating and water are all included in the price. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with patio and space for 2 cars.

There is a pub, post office and swimming pool in the village. You can walk around the grounds of Greystoke Castle opposite the cottage or visit the historic house and gardens of Hutton-in-the-Forest. There are many water activities available on Ullswater. Penrith also has plenty of amenities and attractions.
