Crookhurst Farmhouse

Crookhurst Farmhouse offers luxury self-catering accommodation less than a mile from the coastal village of Allonby in Cumbria. Nestled in a peaceful location, the accommodation is an ideal base for sightseeing, fell walking, cycling, watersports, bird watching, sea fishing, coarse fishing and horse riding holidays.

The large farmhouse, built around 1740, sleeps 12 people (plus cots) in 5 bedrooms, with 3 bathrooms (1 wet room). There is a separate sitting room and kitchen. You will find an enclosed garden surrounded by grazing fields containing farm animals from Bowescale Farm, owners of Crookhurst.

The Maids Cottage has a lounge / diner with TV and DVD player; a modern kitchen with fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine; a double and a single bedroom, plus a bathroom. There is also a garden at the rear with views across to the Solway Firth and the Galloway Coast.

Bowescale View is a new-build property on one floor and is wheelchair-friendly. There is a bedroom with a double and single bed and a large wet room. Guests will also find a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge area. Set in a beautiful position overlooking fields, there is a patio and a parking area.
