The Temple at Stancombe provides the quintessential romantic hideaway in a Grade I listed Doric Temple and Folly Gardens. Offering a lakeside location with beautiful architecture and elegant décor, it is the perfect self-catering holiday home for couples looking for a magical and picturesque setting.

As you walk through the door, the long atrium takes your breath away, with its antique furnishings, ornate ceiling and abundance of natural light flooding in from the sky lights. At the end is a cosy sitting area with cosy open fire, seating and Freesat TV and you will also find a fully-equipped kitchen. In an alcove off the atrium, is the comfortable double bed. There is also a shower room, writing alcove, bar and an outside terrace for al fresco dining. Guests are welcome to walk around the gardens or even take a boat out on the lake.

North Nibley sits between the Severn Vale and Cotswold Escarpment, with the landmark Tyndale Monument located on the hillside above. The village has a welcoming pub and local shop. There are good road links to the market towns of Wotton-under-Edge and Dursley which have a range of independent shops, supermarkets and entertainment. The M5 at junction 14 is only 5 miles away.
