Deanwood Holiday offers a selection of family and dog-friendly holiday homes in a rural location near the village of Yorkley, Forest of Dean. Each cottage is furnished to a high standard with full central heating, excellent facilities and beautiful beamed ceilings. All are within walking distance of the shops, pubs and post office in the village and there is direct access into the forest from the grounds.

Choose from cosy cottages which can accommodate 2 guests to family-friendly properties for 5 people, or book more than one cottage to enjoy a break with your extended family and friends. Altogether the 13 cottages sleep up to 46 guests. There are ground floor cottages - some suitable for the less able, and 2 storey cottages. Yorkley is situated approximately 2.5 miles north of Lydney on the southern edge of the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. The village sits astride a hill giving panoramic views of the River Severn and the Cotswold Hills to the east and the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains to the west. There are a great many walks and cycleways in the Forest of Dean. You can also enjoy kayaking on the Wye, fishing in the local lakes, abseiling, climbing, golfingor take time to explore the fascinating history of the local area .
