Riding House Cottages in Castleton are luxurious and stylish self-catering properties converted from traditional stone barns commanding views over the Peak District’s Hope Valley. Both cottages have charming exposed wooden beams and stone brickwork, as well as a full range of contemporary amenities including Wifi. Shepherds Cottage is a 2-bedroomed cottage for 4 guests, with a double and a twin room. Milkmaid’s Cottage offers the perfect retreat for couples and includes a beautiful hand carved double bed.

There are 140 acres of farmland to explore around the cottages and you might see newborn lambs if you come in spring! The Hope Valley provides some fantastic walks and cycling, and Peveril Castle is visible from the farm. Owners David and Denise have farmed this land for over 35 years and have lots of local knowledge to share.
