The Barley Mow Inn is a Grade II listed stone-built Freehouse with bed and breakfast rooms in the Main Street of the Peak District village of Kirk Ireton. This pub dates back to the 17th century and guests can expect to be well looked after, whether you are staying in the well-appointed guest rooms, enjoying a drink in the bar or sampling traditional pub meals.

There are 3 guest rooms available; all housed in the beautifully converted stables across the courtyard to guarantee privacy, peace and quiet. Each room is equipped with a double bed, en suite facilities, TV, hairdryer and well-stocked beverage tray. There is gated car parking for guests and dogs are allowed in all the rooms.

Start the day with a great breakfast, then enjoy a classic pub lunch or evening meal. Sit at iron or oak tables with a real fire roaring in the main bar. The other rooms are a parlour, with a piano and ‘old kitchen’ area. There is also plenty of space outside. Carsington Water is nearby if you fancy fishing or trying various water-based activities. There are also many walks and cycle ways around the area.
