The Glenorchy Centre

The Glenorchy Centre is a Grade II listed property offering excellent hostel-style accommodation in the market town of Wirksworth. Sleeping up to 26 guests with 3-Star rated facilities, we provide affordable accommodation for hiking or biking group holidays, family reunions or school / Duke of Edinburgh expeditions.

Our accommodation consists of 3 dormitory-style bedrooms with 4, 8 and 12 beds, plus a 2-bedded room, all with bunk beds. There are 2 shower and toilet blocks with a wet room for disabled guests. The main hall can be used as a meeting room, classroom, or for chilling out with the TV, snooker table and table tennis table. There is a kitchen and adjoining dining room able to cater for large groups.

On the edge of the Peak District National Park, there are plenty of walking and cycling routes to follow including the High Peak Trail or Tissington Trail.
