The Old Sawmill

The Old Sawmill has a variety of delightful self-catering cottages located in a rural setting near Waltham, about 8 miles from Canterbury. Renovated from buildings that used to make up a sawmill site, there are 5 properties available offering holiday homes. Pets are welcome by arrangement.

There are 3 cottages accommodating 4 people in each, with open plan living areas featuring sofas, TV, dining table, well-equipped kitchenette with dishwasher; a double, a twin room and a bath / shower room. In addition, Stable is a 1 bedroomed cottage for 2 with a separate living and kitchen/dining room; twin bedroom and a shower room. Budget Single Room is for single guests and has a compact kitchen, day bed and en suite shower. All properties have Wifi, outdoor seating and car parking, with a shared laundry room and games room.

The accommodation is nestled in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), one of the most enchanting parts of England to explore. The landscape comprises dramatic cliffs (including the White Cliffs of Dover), ancient woodlands, meandering rivers, chalk downland, traditional orchards and tranquillity with postcard-picture villages dotted throughout.
