Dower House

The Dower House stands in an elevated position overlooking the beautiful Lake Windermere, commanding one of the most beautiful views in all Lakeland. Accommodation consists of four bedrooms in the main guest house and an adjoining self catering cottage, we offer an optional evening meal. Evening meals can be arranged in the Guest House for people staying in the Self Catering Cottage.

Each of our delightful en-suite rooms includes tea/ coffee making facilities, towels and a range of toiletries. Relax in the guest lounge and plan your day ahead or rest from a busy day out exploring all that the area has to offer. With a log fire you will be kept warm and cosy in those winter months. We are an excellent base for many local attractions which are just a short distance from our establishment. A wide variety of wildlife can be seen in the garden. We are sure you'll have a wonderful stay and want to return year after year as many of our guests do.
