Tweedies Bar & Lodge is a family business and one of the most renowned Hotels in the Lake District. Leisure facilities include our residents lounge, fully furnished with log burning fire, piano and Persian rugs.
Dogs are welcome in 13 rooms bar the Mews Suites. We have 16 sumptuous bedrooms, some have exceptional views of the surrounding fells. Four mews rooms are set in their own courtyard area with outdoor hot tub. Tweedies Bar & Lodge is a perfect romantic setting for a Grasmere wedding or a romantic break.
There are two restaurants to choose from, the relaxed and welcoming Tweedies Bar or the refined and elegant experience of The Lodge Restaurant. We provide a warm welcome and the perfect base from which to explore the lakes and all that the area has to offer.
