Wydon Farm Cottage Holidays comprise 3 charming stone cottages on a former 17th century Farmstead near the village of Penruddock, an easy drive from Penrith and the M6. Surrounded by 8 acres of open fields with views to Blencathra, this a peaceful and relaxing setting. Daisy and Lavender Cottages are Visit England 4-Star rated and Poppy Cottage is also 4-Star with an added Gold Award.

Poppy accommodates 2 and Lavender Cottage is a cosy home for 2 or 3 guests. Daisy Cottage can sleep 5 guests, in 3 bedrooms. All our cottages are equipped with Freeview TVs, DVD players, Hifis, Wifi and iPod dock. Adjacent to the cottages is a shared utility room with laundry facilities, a DVD library and books on local walks. There is secure bike storage, a games area and plenty of car parking.

The Lake District National Park is on the doorstep of the cottages and filled with a world of outdoor opportunities, from scenic lake cruises and exciting water sports to mountainous fell walks. Lakeland also has many famous literary connections to William Wordsworth, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Arthur Ransome and Beatrix Potter.
