The Lamplighter Dining ~ Rooms is perfectly located in the heart of the village of Windermere just a minutes walk from the train station, shops and all amenities. Having been established for 25 years we have become one of the most popular eating and meeting places for both locals and tourists from around the world! The newly opened art-deco lounge bar and sun terrace offers al fresco dining throughout the day on our south facing terraces. From one of our amazing burgers to mussels, oysters and sharing plates with breakfast served daily.

Each of our 11 delightful en-suite bedrooms are fully and tastefully furnished to a high standard and feature filter coffee machines, flat screen televisions and private en-suite bathrooms.

The lounge bar and terraces offer informal dining throughout the day with our fine dining a la carte restaurant open every evening from 5pm. Also available, our critically acclaimed Sunday lunches as reviewed by food crytic Jay Rayner. In the evening enjoy one of our amazing cocktails, original recipes with our modern twist all hand crafted in The Lamplighter Bar, with a selection of real ales and a extensive bin wine list available there really is something for everyone.
