The Bower House Inn

The Bower House Inn is a welcoming 18th century former coaching inn situated in the beautiful Eskdale Valley, 12 miles north of Broughton-in-Furness with welcoming hospitality, a bar, restaurant and comfortable accommodation. Walkers and cyclists are welcome!

Rooms are in the main building or refurbished former barn. Choose from well-appointed single, double, twin and family rooms, each with their own en suite facilities, TV, Wifi, hairdryer and hospitality tray. A drying room is available for muddy boots and wet outdoors gear.

The restaurant offers a range of home cooked meals made from fresh local ingredients, including produce from our own garden. There is also a wide range of vegetarian dishes available. You can relax in the bar area or gardens with a drink from the well-stocked bar and there is a play area for children. Dogs are welcome too.
