Field Beck

Field Beck is a detached Georgian house offering self-catering holiday accommodation in the historic Cumbrian village of Cartmel. Grade II Listed and full of charm, with views across the meadows to Cartmel Priory, this quirky old house accommodates 6 people very comfortably. There are discounts for smaller groups. Dogs are welcome by prior agreement.

The sitting room has a wood burning stove, TV and DVD player. There is a separate dining room. The fully-equipped kitchen has upcycled 1950s units, a cosy breakfast area and an old fashioned scullery. In the basement is a games room with dartboard, mini-snooker and football tables. Upstairs, there are 2 doubles and a twin room. Fibre broadband is available. Field Beck has a beautiful and sunny walled garden with a patio, pond and stream.

Cartmel is centred around an ancient square and overlooked by the great medieval Priory. Nestled in a lovely valley on the southern edge of the Lake District National Park, the village has a selection of artisan shops including a chocolatier and microbrewery; as well as award-winning restaurants and gastropubs. There is also a national hunt racecourse. It is ideal walking, eating and drinking country and a perfect base for exploring The Lakes.
