Old Time

Old Time is a bed and breakfast and specialist furniture shop run by friendly hosts Stuart and Jane, situated in the historic town of Bishop’s Castle. A 15th century building located along the High Street, a stone’s throw from the shops and amenities, the building has characterful cruck beams, uneven walls and a lovely courtyard garden.

There are 3 bedrooms. The Pink Room is a double with en suite bathroom and a balcony overlooking the High Street; The Blue Bedroom is a twin room with en suite shower room; and The Cruck Room is in the oldest part of the house with a double bed and en suite shower. All rooms have a TV, radio alarm clock and hospitality tray.

Guests can also relax in the large sitting area on the landing or outside in the garden. Breakfast is made with fresh eggs from the resident hens, as well as locally-produced sausages and bacon, plus homemade bread and preserves. The furniture shop below sells bespoke handmade furniture and chairs made by Stuart and Jane.
