The Crown

The Crown Inn is a 17th century former coaching inn with bed and breakfast rooms in the Shropshire village of Wentnor, just 6 miles from Bishop’s Castle. A scenic rural setting surrounded by the undulating countryside of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty; walkers, cyclists and other visitors are welcome.

The bedrooms are beautifully furnished, in a modern style which complements the original features of the building. Each has en suite shower facilities, complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer and a tea / coffee tray. There is a twin room and 3 doubles, including one which is pet-friendly. Parking and bike storage are available.

In the morning, a full English breakfast is served to overnight guests to help start the day. The bar and dining room is open to all, providing a menu of hearty home cooked meals and a range of drinks, including local ales. There is a beer garden outside.
