For camping by the sea in Cornwall, come to Higher Pentreath Camping Site! Family and pet-friendly, this site was established in the 1950s and is wonderfully situated near Praa Sands Beach, 7 miles outside Penzance and in a great location for relaxing, exploring, sightseeing and for experiencing a range of outdoors activities.
Touring caravans, campervans and tents are all welcome on the site. Guests can wake up to stunning bay and countryside views, with spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Electric hook-up is provided on some of the pitches and there are special rates for walkers or hikers. Children under 5 years old and dogs also stay free-of-charge!
The site is equipped with well-maintained toilets, showers, a laundry room, washing-up sinks, phone chargers and free Wifi. There is also an outside shower to rinse off sandy equipment or people, plus a secure bike rack. The beach and SW Coast Path is only 6 minutes’ walk away and there is a restaurant and café in Praa Sands.
