Canal Side Caravan Site is an adults-only park situated along the Llangollen canal, only 2 miles from the centre of Whitchurch. Nestled along the popular Sandstone Trail for walkers, and 5 minutes’ walk from the landmark Grindley Brook Staircase Locks, this site is perfectly placed for exploring the many sights of beautiful Shropshire.
Spread across 2 paddocks, the site accommodates touring caravans and motorhomes. There are 10-amp hook-ups, aerial points and Wifi. The 2 amenity blocks have toilets, showers and washing-up sinks; with Elsan disposal also provided. Seasonal pitches and secure storage (both short term and over winter) are also available.
There is a pub, petrol station and a café a short walk from the site, and regular buses to Whitchurch and Chester from the main road. Whitchurch has a good selection of shops, eateries and the lovely Jubilee Park. Alderford Lake is also a short drive away where you can go paddleboarding, open swimming or have fun on the aquapark.
