Tallentire Hall

Tallentire Hall is a 16th century manor house, with parts dating back to the 13th century, set in 11.5 acres of grounds, 3 miles from Cockermouth, between the Lake District’s north-western edge and the Cumbrian coast. Visit England 4 or 5-Star Gold rated, guests can stay in Gamekeeper’s or Gardener’s Cottages, or The Hayloft.

Gamekeeper’s and Gardener’s Cottages are both 2-storey holiday homes situated on the south wing of the main hall, with shared garden facilities. Gardener’s sleeps 2 guests in a king bedded room; whereas Gamekeeper’s sleeps 5 guests in 2 en suite double bedrooms and a single room. They can be booked together for 7 people.

The Hayloft, above the stables, sleeps 6 in a master super king / twin en suite room and 2 flexible super king / twin bedrooms. This property has a private garden. Dogs are allowed. The 3 properties all contain a host of contemporary amenities, with access to the shared terrace. There is also a warm dog shower and enclosed field.
