Uppergate Farm

Uppergate Farm offers a variety of luxurious self-catering accommodation; including holiday cottages, a superb converted barn, luxury yurts, shepherd’s hut and new safari hut. All are located in a peaceful setting, on the edge of a hill farm in the Pennines in the West Yorkshire village of Hepworth, near Holmfirth, in the beautiful Holme Valley. Excellent on-site facilities include a pool and sauna. Some of the properties are dog-friendly.

The 1-bedroomed apartment self-contained wing of the farmhouse features oak beams, mullion windows and flagstone floors; the detached stone Bray and Grove Farm Cottages sleep 8 and 5 people; or the 320-year-old Uppergate Barn sleeps 10. Glampers can hire Rowan and Maythorn Yurts, Beechwood Shepherd’s Hut or Deanwood Safari Tent, each set in the 10 acres of woodland, sleeping 2 and with their own hot tub.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the heated indoor swimming pool and sauna. There are also indoor and outdoor play and picnic areas. Children can help on the farm with the sheep, lambs, cows, calves, pigs, chickens, ducks and other animals in the nearby fields. Guests will find a pub serving a food menu close by.
