Lyons Manor House Holiday Park

Manor House Holiday Park is a self-catering caravan park situated near the pretty coastal town of Maryport in the Lake District, not far from the impressive Solway Firth in the heart of Cumbria, and also within easy travelling distance of Carlisle and the beautiful Scottish Borders. It is a perfect location for a quiet, relaxing holiday with plenty of activities nearby for the more adventurous!

Whatever your requirements, there is accommodation to suit at Manor House, with a range of modern caravans available, starting from the Bronze level, all the way up to the top-of-the-range Platinum level caravan, which boasts all the latest in mod cons. There are pet-friendly caravans and even some with a hot tub! Seasonal pitches are also available for those with their own caravan.

There is a range of activities on-site for those who do not wish to venture far. These include an adventure play park and games room for the kids. There is also beach nearby and plenty of scenic walks, plus a bar / restaurant for the grown-ups. A short distance away, the town of Maryport is home to a Roman fort and museums, plus kids will love the aquarium and 14-hole mini golf course.

For nature lovers, the mud and sand flats of the Solway Firth are home to lots of wildlife, including some rare species, plus it is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. If you are lucky, you may also spot some dolphins! Further afield, the Lake District is very well-known for its stunning lake and mountain scenery, with a raft of brilliant outdoors activities of all ages and abilities.
