Ye Olde Dun Cow

Welcome to Ye Olde Dun Cow, a traditional village inn situated on the High Street in the village of Colton, just outside the town of Rugeley in Staffordshire. This is a traditional English pub with a superb restaurant offering an a la carte menu with many classic dishes; a rustic, wood-beamed lounge and bar, a beer garden and patio area.

We also offer guest accommodation. Our bedrooms have recently been refurbished and are light and airy with crisp cotton sheets, free Wifi and televisions. We have two very spacious en suite double rooms, plus a smaller double room and twin-bedded room that share a bathroom. All rates include a Full English breakfast.

The pub is only 2 miles from Rugeley Trent Valley train station and just over 3 miles from Lakeside Golf Club and we can offer golf discounts for guests. Ye Olde Dun Cow is also on the doorstep of Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
