The Old Kings Head Hotel

Welcome to the Old Kings Head Hotel, a friendly inn with comfortable guest rooms in the old market town of Broughton-in-Furness. Dating back to the 16th Century, the Old Kings Head has been welcoming travellers for centuries and we still offer the same hospitality to all guests whether you are arriving by car, bicycle or on foot. Surrounded by the beautiful Lake District, we are a haven for many walkers and cyclists.

We have 5 guest rooms, all recently refurbished with contemporary designs. Each has its own en suite facilities, TV, Wifi and a delicious breakfast will be freshly prepared for you in the morning from locally produced ingredients. There is also car parking and a secure lock up for bicycles. Dogs are welcome.

Join us for a beverage in our cosy bar or sample some classic pub dishes in our Henry VIII-themed restaurant. Our beer garden is a great place to relax in the sunshine during the summer months and we have our own outdoor kitchen and dining area. We also have regular entertainment.
