Wall Nook Cottages

Wall Nook cottages are nestled on the edge of the Lake District, in a tranquil setting overlooking the village of Cartmel, with its medieval Priory, racecourse and great places to eat. Our rental cottages were originally a large barn which has been restored and re-designed into 2 separate cottages named Pheasant and Kestrel. The cottages are owned and run by Karen and Martyn Farmer.

Sleeping 2 guests, Kestrel Cottage features an open plan living room, kitchen and dining area. An open staircase leads up to the spacious bedroom with exposed beams and stunning countryside views. The king-sized bed can be unzipped into twins if required and there is a luxury tiled en suite bathroom.

Sleeping 4 guests, Pheasant Cottage has a double height beamed sitting room with an entertainment system. The dining area has seating for 4 and the kitchen is fully-fitted. The ground floor en suite bedroom can be king-sized or a twin. French windows open directly onto the gardens. On the first floor, the master bedroom has original oak beams and views across the gardens and grounds. The ‘zip and link’ beds can be made into a king sized or twin beds. There is also an upstairs bathroom.
