Bailey End

Bailey End is a townhouse in Bishop’s Castle, dating back to the 17th century, with parts rebuilt in the 19th century. Full of interesting features and quirks, it offers a charming self-catering holiday home for 8 or 9 guests. Close to the Shropshire Hills, there are many opportunities for walking and cycling nearby.

The house has a large lounge with a flagstone floor, warming wood burner in the inglenook fireplace, comfortable seating and a TV. The kitchen includes a dining table and chairs. There are 2 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms including 2 doubles, a single, a twin and a bedroom with a double and single bed. Wifi is available. There is a small lawned area at the back of the house and a private field 50 yards away where children can play.

Bishop’s Castle has much to offer the visitor, with a great range of independently-owned shops, museums, pubs and places to eat. The town is just on the edge of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Offa’s Dyke is 4 miles away; a popular long-distance footpath and National Trail, closely following the England and Wales border.
