Walcot Hall

Walcot Hall is steeped in history, featuring an abundance of period features and charming interiors. This beautiful Georgian Manor House near Lydbury North was formerly the residence to Lord Clive of India and overlooks a lake and rolling parkland with beautiful gardens to the rear. The drive to the Hall takes you over a bridge crossing the lake, up a tree-lined avenue and to a carriage sweep in front of the main house. We are a popular wedding venue with enough accommodation to house around 100 people on-site for the weekend of a wedding.

There are 15 self-catering cottages in total on the estate including our Arcot Apartment for 2 on the ground floor of the clock tower; our charming Chapel for 4 with its stylish interior that has appeared on ‘George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces’ or our beautifully-decorated Styche Apartment that can sleep up to 14 people. All have their own style and character with a host of added contemporary amenities. For a more back-to-nature experience we also have a variety of yurts, huts and caravans, with our Fire Truck providing a most unusual holiday home.
