Wood Lodge Bed and Breakfast

Wood Lodge Bed and Breakfast, in the picturesque village of Prees, is run by friendly owners Fred and Veronica. This charming B & B has car parking as well as a lovely outside pond area, with ducks, moor hens and free range hens, together with white fan tailed doves. Walkers and cyclists are welcome.

There are 2 bedrooms, both decorated with homely furnishings and extra touches for a good night’s sleep. One is a double bedroom and the other is a twin. Each has their own private bathroom, scenic views, Wifi, a TV, hairdryer, trouser press and refreshments tray. Fresh milk is available. Our breakfasts are made with local produce including eggs from our own hens.

The village of Prees is central to Whitchurch, Market Drayton and Wem and is within half an hour’s drive from the Roman city of Chester, Ironbridge (the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution) and Blists Hill in Telford, a wonderful working Victorian museum.
