Hotels, B&B's and Self Catering in Chudleigh

Chudleigh is a small market and wool town just off the A38 Exeter to Plymouth road. The town is very close to the edge of Dartmouth and nestled in the Teign Valley. Chudleigh has a church, pubs, shops and a post office. It has an attractive main street, dating mainly from the early 1800s, with craft galleries and interesting buildings. There is an attractive courtyard of small shops and studios at Pottery Court. Local amenities also include an outdoor swimming pool, cricket field, football pitches, a skate park and a library. Nearby Castle Dyke is an Iron Age Hill Fort and the town is also near Haldon Forest. Chudleigh Rocks and the old limekilns are a popular visitor attraction in the town. Ugbrooke House stately home is open to the public during the summer. The house, now a Grade I listed building, sits in grounds designed by Capability Brown in 1761.
