The charming Victorian seaside resort town of Criccieth is the perfect holiday destination in north-west Wales, on the southern side of the Llyn Peninsula. This is a beautiful destination and not-to-be-missed. With a rich history, vibrant nightlife and wide array of amenities and attractions, you can be sure that a holiday here will be one to remember for many years to come. Dominating the town is the stunning Criccieth Castle, constructed in the late 13th Century. On either side of the castle, lies two gorgeous sandy beaches; the perfect place to take the children for an afternoon of fun. Other attractions include Dragon Raiders Activity Park, the Castle Gallery and Criccieth Lifeboat Station. There is also coarse fishing nearby at Bron Eifion six-acre lake. Situated on the coast at the edge of the Snowdonia National Park with all its attractions there are an abundance of castles, walks, mountains, beaches, scenery, trains, golf, water sports, fishing, plus excellent visitor attractions within close proximity of the town.
