Hotels, B&B's and Self Catering in Stackpole

Stackpole is a pretty village located in the south of Pembrokeshire about 4 miles south of Pembroke. The village is surrounded on all sides by woodland and farmland, which are part of the Stackpole Estate, one of several grand countryseats of the Scottish Cawdor family. The National Trust now care for the landscape and wildlife of this part of Wales. The village is a perfect holiday location with a pub and several sandy beaches nearby including the award winning Barafundle Bay and Freshwater East. Other attractions include the beautiful Bosherston lily ponds noted for otters, waterfowl and water lilies. Stackpole is on the route of the Wales Coastal Path which offers great coastal walking trails both to the east and west. Cliffs, sand dunes and tiny coves alternate along this stretch of coastline, with the limestone cliffs from Stackpole Quay to St Govans Chapel being an important site for breeding seabirds. Close by are the historic castles of Pembroke and Carew, and the theme parks of Oakwood and Bluestone. Also within a very short drive is Manor House Wildlife Park.
