Dating back to 1501, Wesley House is a Grade II listed cottage which has been sensitively restored to offer self-catering accommodation for 4 guests plus a child, on a quiet and pretty cobbled street right in the heart of Shrewsbury. John Wesley, founder of the Methodist church preached in this house in 1761. This cottage is within easy walking distance of the town centre’s main attractions, shops, restaurants and pubs.

Wesley House is all on ground floor level providing easy access. The living room has characterful wood panelled walls, an original wood floor and feature wood burner. There is a secret door within the wood pannelling in the living room which leads to a sweet little child's bedroom. There are also 2 bedrooms; a double and a twin, as well as a family bathroom with large walk-in shower. The kitchen / dining room has a bespoke glass frieze depicting the various local buildings of this beautiful medieval town, an original cast iron stove and is fully-equipped. Wifi is available.

To the rear of the house is an enclosed courtyard and parking is available. The house is located on Fish Street, within the famous loop of the River Severn. This bustling market town has more than 600 historic buildings, quirky ‘shuts’ passageways and wonderful attractions including Shrewsbury Castle, Quarry Park, Shrewsbury Abbey and much more.
