The oldest building is the Church of St Andrew with its much-admired lantern tower dating back to the 15th century. Inside is a tall, colourful and most impressive west window. Colyton is ideally located for enjoying the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Gateway at Seaton. Colyton is on the East Devon Way, a long-distance footpath running for 38 miles, where you can see estuaries, high open commons, woodlands and river valleys.
