Old Copwood

Old Copwood is believed to be part old cottage, part granary. Dating from the early 1600s, it is full of character and low beams but with contemporary facilities and amenities; plus, your friendly and welcoming host Annie. We are a mile and a half from Uckfield train station, and just a mile out of Uckfield town.

Surrounded by fields, with a garden and car parking, there is ample room to take a stroll. There is plenty of parking for cars and even commercial vehicles where needed. We welcome children, bikers, walkers and dogs! We have 3 rooms which are spacious and very well-appointed and above all, quiet. All have kettle and tea / coffee and biscuits, port, shortbread and a huge very comfortable bed.

Luxury Sussex breakfasts are cooked on a farmhouse Aga and eaten in our old, beamed dining room. We use local produce where possible, with home-made jams and preserves, locally-made sausages and local eggs and we also use tomatoes from our own garden when in season.
