Burnside Brace Guesthouse is a charming privately-owned Victorian country house in the market town of Stanhope, offering superb bed and breakfast accommodation. Surrounded by the scenic countryside of the Wear Dales, it is a friendly and delightful place to stay. Families and dogs are welcome.

Full of character and charm, rooms provide a comfortable and peaceful place to stay. All have en suite facilities or private bathroom with TV, DVD, beverage tray and free Wifi. We have cosy double rooms and family rooms for up to 4 available. You can also relax in our garden and watch the stream flowing past towards the River Wear. A delicious Full English breakfast is included and served in our elegant dining room. We can also cater for guests with special diets or provide packed lunches with prior notice.

There are many opportunities for walking or cycling in the surrounding countryside. We are opposite the towns famous open air heated swimming pool and there are many shops, cafes and bars in the town. You can also visit the castle and medieval church in Stanhope to discover some heritage.
