The Magpies Nest

The Magpies nest is a beautiful period house in the heart of South Shields. Owners Steve and Jan are very enthusiastic about ensuring guests feel welcome and at ease at this deluxe bed and breakfast.

The rooms have combined the traditional features of the property with modern decor and fittings, to ensure that you feel like your home from home. Rooms vary from a single, to double or twin, to a family size. Each has en-suite, Sky TV, and hospitality tray. Then in the morning you can enjoy a lovely breakfast, freshly prepared to help you get through the day.

The Magpies Nest is ideally located within walking distance to the park or beach, and the town centre offering various bars and restaurants. We will be happy to offer you advice about where to go whether your stay is for work, rest or play!
